I recently became a Stampin’ Up demonstrator so I’ve been playing around with some new stamp sets. For this card in particular I used the “Crazy About You” stamp set and the “Pistachio Pudding” stampin’ pad. The floral paper is from a block from Michael’s that I already had on hand. However, I LOVE the Stampin’ Up cardstock! For this card I used Pistachio Pudding cardstock. It’s so thick and such great quality, plus it coordinates with your stamp pads which makes things ever easier!
I started with a half a piece of cardstock folded in half and then each layer is 1/4 inch narrower and shorter. I wrapped a piece of Bakers Twine around the front of the card three times and added a few pearls to add some bling.
I got the inspiration for this card from one of my favourite blogs called Pootles. She is also a Stampin’ Up demonstrator from the UK and she has awesome video tutorials for lots of different paper crafts.
Overall this card was simple to make and turned out to be quite elegant, or at least I think so! ;) Now that I’ve discovered these great products I’ll be sharing plenty more of my favourite Stampin’ Up cards and projects so be sure to keep an eye out!
